Sunday Morning Service - February 25, 2024 - “From Carnal Christian to Legalistic Christian”
Last week, I explained my own journey from the “Carnal Christian” perspective. Every believer knows the tension we have as we struggle with sin – or even try to make peace with it. We know what Paul says in Romans 6:12-14, but we have extreme difficulties with the “ideal” (normative). Many Christians do what I did - they turn to legalism for results. The problem is the results are no better, in a sense, than the “Carnal Christian” paradigm.
In today’s message, we will explore the Galatians passage (and some ancillary texts) in order to understand the problem of legalism.
