Sunday Morning Service - March 10, 2024 - “How Does the ‘Eternal Law’ Become Obsolete?”
Last week we surveyed Covenant Theology and at the conclusion as I stated last week, today I plan to present the view of the Law that I hold.
Again it is important to state my solidarity with the Reformed theologians and church's as we agree with them in many areas, admire their dedication to teaching the whole Bible with emphasis on the five solas, and we plan to spend eternity in heaven with them. Another point from last week, the Roman Catholics were correct when they predicted that a Bible in the hands of Laity would splinter the Protestant church. Our many denominations and even non denominations are proof of that. But, I strongly believe it is better for people to have the Word of GOD in their possession, despite false interpretations, than to not have the Bible at all! I much prefer the priesthood of all believers to the chard of priesthood which has erred more than the Protestant Laity.
In this message, we will reconsider the texts from last week in order to show that the Law is not the standard for the Believer’s life.
