Sunday Morning Service - January 19, 2025 - “Appropriate Corporate Worship - (Part Three)”
Many Bible scholars regard this section as a window into the corporate worship event in the Early Church. Compared with our worship there seem to be parallels in the “order of worship.” But the overall description sounds more like a small group study than a “worship service.” Regardless of the comparisons or contrasts, there is an over-arching principle for the meeting: order.
In the three closing paragraphs of this chapter, we will see the convergence of “gifts” (Ch. 12) and “love” (Ch. 13).
