Sunday Morning Service - February 2, 2025 - “The Elation of Our Reconciliation”
In these three verses, Paul gives a reminder to all believers in Christ of both the horror of who we were apart from Christ, as well as the beauty and wonder of all that God has done to save us from our sin. And the good news that Paul explains in these verses centers around one of the most beautiful words and concepts in all of Scripture: reconciliation.
Despite our cosmic treason, God has graciously and lovingly reconciled us to Himself through His Son, Jesus Christ. In Christ, we are holy, blameless, and beyond reproach, and we are assured that nothing will ever separate us from the love of God in Him. Knowing this good news should give every believer in Christ a continual sense of joy and elation, as we ponder the indescribable love that God has shown to us!
