What to Expect

If you are new to the area or are just looking for a church home, we hope that you will consider Bonaire First Baptist Church (BFBC). It is our desire that your visit at BFBC will be a blessed, Christ-centered experience. In an effort to help you feel a part of our family before you even arrive, here are a few things about us that we think may be helpful as you prepare to worship with us.

Sunday Mornings

Sunday Mornings are joyful time at BFBC. It is the main time each week that the church family is able to meet corporately for worship, study, and fellowship. When you arrive you will find greeters waiting to welcome you into our fellowship and to help you with any needs you may have, such as finding classes, nursery, coffee, or restrooms. It is our desire that you feel welcome and at home from the moment you arrive.

We have graded Sunday School for children and students as well as a variety of classes for adults beginning at 9am. This is an exciting time of study and fellowship.

Morning worship begins at 10AM and is a time for rejoicing, prayer, and preaching.

Weekly Schedule

What should I wear?

Dress at BFBC ranges from business to casual. We believe you will be comfortable whether you prefer a suit or a golf shirt. In either case you will be welcome and feel right at home.

Sunday Evenings

Sunday evenings during most of the year center around our small group ministry which provides opportunities for the entire family to grow in Christ. These groups typically meet in homes at various locations throughout the community.

Wednesday Evenings

Wednesday evenings are a great time to gather for Bible study, prayer, and fellowship. The kids enjoy AWANA, an excellent ministry for teaching and learning God's Word. Our teens enjoy a time of student worship called Oasis, and our adults have a time of prayer and expository Bible study. Following the Bible study time, the sanctuary choir and worship team meet to prepare for Sunday worship. Again, you will find our dress casual, our countenance happy, and our spirits reverent.
